Oakland County Bar Association’s (OCBA) Juvenile Law Committee have launches “DreamPacks” program

Did you know that there are currently more than 800 children in foster care in Oakland County alone? Being moved from placement to placement while waiting to find their forever home and family is tough enough, but to top it off children in foster care are typically given only a trash bag in which to put their belongings.

To help make these moves a little easier, the members of the Oakland County Bar Association’s (OCBA) Juvenile Law Committee have launched their “DreamPacks” program. DreamPacks are duffle bags that can be purchased from our Amazon.com Wish List. The bags are delivered to the OCBA and the Lawyer-Guardians Ad Litem appointed to represent Oakland County children in foster care will deliver them so these kids don’t have keep their stuff in trash bags anymore!

Please consider clicking this link, http://bit.ly/DreamPacks, and purchasing a DreamPack. It is the hope of the Juvenile Law Committee that we will be able to give a little dignity all of our Oakland County children in the foster care system.
